Using Rocket Ammo, players can fire a projectile that releases a shockwave, pushing things away from it. Round 1 of the War Effort goes to the Shockwave Launcher! This Tier 1 weapon looks similar to a Recon Scanner and only comes in Legendary Rarity. After some play, they are on the tier list! The Dual Fiend Hunters are now in the game. On another note, the Carnage and Venom Mythic Symbiotes have been disabled earlier than their Octoend date due to an issue found with them. Players can vote at machines in many major POIs using Gold Bars. Round 2 of the War Effort voting has begun, this time allowing players to vote for the Combat AR or Combat SMG as the next weapon to be added to the game.
Initially hard to find, Epic increased the spawn rate of the weapon and there seem to be plenty to go around!
With a much lower funding goal than the first round, the second round of War Effort funding has ending with the Combat AR winning and already appearing on the island over the past weekend.
